Unsaturated Polyester Resin Putty

【Components】
Geliahao unsaturated polyester resin putty is two components reaction putty synthesized by advanced technology. Its main ingredients is special air dry flexibility Geliahao unsaturated polyester resin and other Ingredients are tonic, stabilizer, filler and dryer, etc.

【Applications】
◆ Geliahao putty is mainly used for manufactures and repairs of automobile, locomotive and lathe. Also used for many products such as furniture, floor, wall decoration, helmet, founding and mould.

【Operation instruction】

◆ First, clean the wanted surfaced, then use sandblast or raw rough abrasive paper（40#~60#）to sand abundantly. Second remove rust, old paints, water and other adhesive object. Then blow the surface with gas pump. Last, smear putty on the surface within 2 hours. If you spent more than 2 hours, it contacts with air and moisture for too longtime. The wanted surface can rust again which will influence the adhesion.
◆ some users treat surface with pakerizing liquid. But the operation of bonderizing is too complex and there are many factor to effect bonderizing. If you cannot operate properly, adhesion will be decreased so as to cause orange peel, bubble. Furthermore, both pakerizing liquids quality and workers' proficiency can influence phosphorization effect. So we will not suggest you to bonderizing.
◆ Mix the major agent and curing agent at 100:2 to form uniform color mixture.
◆ It is required to use the mixture just adjusted in 7-10 minutes. (It may be changeable according to the variety of temperature and moisture)
◆ No bubble is permitted. You must scrape it to be plane with scraper.
◆ Begin to sand when all putty have dried and hardened. Both surrounding temperature and moisture have influence on curing time and sanding time. Table 1, shows the curing time and sanding time at different temperature. Just as reference.

◆ Can be backed at right moment under 120℃ according to the operation technology after the putty have cured for 24 hours.
◆ To accelerate the curing time speed of putty for the reason of the low temperature or hastening production, you can heat putty with infrared lamp, blast burner and other supplementary heater. Overheating should be avoided, which can decrease adhesion. Additional supplementary heat must accord with the temperature curve. Generally, users can refer to follow temperature curve:
Top putty dry at（50~60）℃baking 30 minutes－at（80~90）℃backing 1 hours
◆ Can be matched well with all kinds of paints. But you should choose the qualified paints, curing agent and dilute materials with proper adjustment. Some paints are not qualified because of the incorrect measure and excessive TDI. In order to low the cost, a great many benzene solvent are added into putty, which are not only toxic but also fast evaporation. It cause craze, frosting, bubble, orange peel, etc. So you should chose good solvent such as butyl acetate, butanone, diacetanealcohol to ensure the quality of operation.
